Global Mapper
Global Mapper is a geographic information system (GIS) software package currently developed by Blue Marble Geographics that runs on Microsoft Windows. GIS software competes with ESRI, GeoMedia, Manifold System, and MapInfo GIS products. Global Mapper handles vector data and Raster images, including maps of all kinds and elevations, and provides display, transformation, and other general GIS features. Global Mapper has an active user community with an online mailing list and forums.

In 1995, the USGS needed a Windows viewer for their data products, so they developed a dlgv32 app to display DLG (Digital Line Graph) vector data products. Between 1995 and 1998, the dlgv32 application was expanded to include support for rendering other USGS data products, including DRG (topographic maps), DEM (digital elevation model), SDTS-DLG and SDTS-DEM data products. [4] The development process is described in detail in a USGS paper titled "Programming Exercise".
In 1998, the USGS released the source code for dlgv32 v3.7 into the public domain. In 2001, the source code for dlgv32 was developed by a private individual to become the commercial product dlgv32 Pro v4.0 and offered for sale online. Later that same year, the product was renamed Global Mapper and became a commercial product of Global Mapper Software LLC. The USGS was distributing a copy of the software under the name dlgv32 Pro (Global Mapper).
On November 2, 2011, Blue Marble Geographics, at its annual user's conference, announced that it had acquired Global Mapper LLC.
Since the initial marketing of the Global Mapper product in 2001, there have been major product releases annually and several intermediate point releases adding additional functionality to the software.

1. Go to the download file and open the setup file
2. Click on Next
3. Agree to the terms
4. Choose where to save
5. Click Next
6. The download process takes time, after completion, click Next
7. After the download is finished, click on Finish
8. The program has been downloaded but the program is not activated. We are taking steps to activate the program for life through the activation file
9. Access the activation file after decompressing and copy the following file and paste it in the appropriate place
10. Paste the copied file to the place where you download the program on your computer, as shown in the following picture
11. Open the program and note that it has been activated for life
