Split By Attributes

Splits an input dataset by unique attributes.



1. Input Table

The input feature class or table whose data will be split into the target workspace.

2. Target Workspace

The existing workspace where the output feature classes or tables are written.

3. Split Fields

The fields on which the input will be split into new feature classes or tables.

Table Select

Selects table records matching a Structured Query Language (SQL) expression and writes them to an output table.



1. Input Table

The table containing records matching the specified expression that will be written to the output table.

2. Output Table

The output table containing records from the input table that match the specified expression.

3. Expression (optional)

An SQL expression used to select a subset of records. For more information on SQL syntax, see SQL reference for elements used in query expressions.

 Erase

Creates a feature class by overlaying the Input Features with the polygons of the Erase Features. Only those portions of the input features falling outside the erase features outside boundaries are copied to the output feature class.



1. Input Features

The input feature class or layer.

2. Erase Features

The features to be used to erase coincident features in the input.

3. Output Feature Class

The feature class that will contain only those Input Features that are not coincident with the Erase Features.

4. XY Tolerance (optional)

The minimum distance separating all feature coordinates (nodes and vertices) as well as the distance a coordinate can move in X or Y (or both).
