Parcel Fabric Tools
Parcel Fabric Tools |
- The Parcel Fabric toolbox contains tools that work with the internal feature classes and tables of a parcel fabric. Using the Parcel Fabric toolbox, you can load data to a parcel fabric, copy and append parcel fabrics and create layer and table views on the parcel fabric.
- Parcel Fabric Tools consist of a set of tools, and it will be explained by explaining all the tools as follows:
Data Migration Toolset:
The Data Migration Toolset contains a single tool for handling and migrating feature classes based on existing chunks to the chunk build:
Load a Topology to a Parcel Fabric
Loads polygon and line features that participate in a topology into a target parcel fabric. The topology requires a predefined set of topology rules:
- Line—Must be Covered by Boundary Of (polygon)
- Line—Must Not Self-Overlap
- Line—Must Not Self-Intersect
- Line—Must be Single Part
- Line—Must Not Intersect Or Touch Interior
- Polygon—Boundary Must be Covered By (Line)
Parcel fabric tools do not support backstage processing with 64-bit.
Layers and Table Views Toolset:
The Layers and Table Views Toolset creates and manipulates pane texture layers, a layer file, and table views. Layers (and layer files) refer to geographic data stored on disk. They can reference most types of data, including parcel texture data sets and internal feature classes of parcel texture data sets. Table widths are the table's equivalent of a tier.
Table views are useful when working with parcel texture in ArcMap as they can be used to access invisible texture tables such as the schematics table and resolution table. In geoprocessing, the primary reason for making and using layers is to make attribute and area selections.
By creating a layer first, you can make selections on the layer without affecting the original data source. Layers, layer files, and table views can be used as inputs to many geoprocessing tools or described in ArcMap:
Make Parcel Fabric Layer
Creates a parcel fabric layer from an input parcel fabric. The parcel fabric layer that is created by the tool is temporary and will not persist after the session ends unless the document is saved. This tool is needed if you want a parcel fabric sublayer to participate in a geoprocessing model.
Parcel fabric tools do not support backstage processing with 64 bit.
Make Parcel Fabric Table View
Creates a table view from an input parcel fabric feature class or table. The table view that is created by the tool is temporary and will not persist after the session ends unless the document is saved. This tool is useful for accessing hidden, nonspatial parcel fabric tables, such as the Plans table and the Accuracy table.
Parcel fabric tools do not support backstage processing with 64 bit.
Parcel Features Toolset:
The Parcel Features Toolset contains tools for merging or copying pieces from one piece to build pieces of another:
Append Parcel Fabric
Appends one or multiple parcel fabrics into an existing target parcel fabric. The spatial reference of the input parcel fabrics must match the spatial reference of the target parcel fabric.
Parcel fabric tools do not support backstage processing with 64-bit.
Copy Parcel Fabric
Copies parcels from the input parcel fabric dataset or layer to a new parcel fabric.
Parcel fabric tools do not support backstage processing with 64-bit.

In the same way, as described through this site. Watch the video first, then you can search for any tool by writing its name in the search, the language of the video is Arabic, but English subtitles and any language in the world are available. Good luck and God bless you.
